The Mayowood Gathering Spot

Hosting big family get togethers and having friends over for a summer fire was the vision for this deck. We worked with the family to create a large seating area and a custom approach for cozying up to the fire.

Feature No. 1
The main feature of the Mayowood Gathering Spot is an inset firepit including a built-in bench and a door to remove snow easily. 

Feature No. 2
Intricate details are also a hallmark of this deck to add that next level of refinement. 

Feature No. 3
Lighting was integrated throughout the deck to improve safety and enhance the outdoor experience.

Feature No. 4
The final element to make this the perfect gathering spot is a 28-foot bench around the parameter along with a large railing to set your drink.

The Flagstone Family Deck

This deck in Northwest Rochester features multiple add-ons and seamlessly integrates into landscaping, creating the perfect outdoor space.

Feature No. 1
This deck off of the dining room creates an extension of the house perfect for a growing family in Rochester. 

Feature No. 2
To optimize space, a bump-out was added for the grill.

Feature No. 3
Lighting was added throughout the decking including the risers on the stairs and the railing system. 

Feature No. 4
Twenty-four lights were integrated into the risers on the stairs, illuminating every other step to improve safety.

Mayowood Refresh

Overlooking one of Rochester’s lakes, this deck needed a refresh including all new decking and railings. The result was a great place for morning coffee and a late-night cocktail. 

Feature No. 1
The deck was designed with two stairs to allow the family to easily access other areas of the property. 

Feature No. 2
The open and large deck allows for an infinite configurations of furniture. 

Feature No. 3
Several stylistic elements were added throughout the deck.
